LIC AAO Eligibility Details:
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest Life Insurance Company in India having 2048 Branches and 109 Divisional Offices. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has issued notification for the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Vacancies. The following are the eligibility details.
Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian Citizen.
Age limit: The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum not more than 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as given below.

LIC AAO Selection Procedure:
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the on-line test followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.
1. Online Test: On-line test will be of objective type, multiple choice of two hours duration comprising of the following:
a. Reasoning Ability
b. Quantitative Aptitude
c. General Knowledge, Current Affairs
d. Computer Knowledge
e. English Language with Special emphasis on Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension.
Penalty for Wrong Answers:
i. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (1/4 ) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
ii. Candidate must pass in each paper separately and also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate of the two papers to qualify for the interview. The minimum marks to be obtained in each paper and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC of India.
iii. The marks obtained by the candidate in each paper and in the aggregate shall be arrived at after deduction of the marks for wrong answers.
iv. Appearing in the online examination or mere pass in the online examination shall not vest any right in a candidate to be called for Personal Interview.
1. Pre-exam training for OBC/ SC/ST candidates:
OBC/ SC/ST candidates who wish to avail the benefit of pre examination training may register their name and other details with the Divisional Office of LIC of India convenient to them. The Divisional Office will inform the registered candidates, the date and venue of the training. Such candidates would have to attend the training at their own cost on the appointed dates and at the venue advised to them. Candidates are required to refer to the website under the tab “Careers” for address of the Divisional Offices of LIC.
i. Candidates who successful in the Online test will be called for an Interview. Candidate who does not obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the Interview shall be disqualified for further selection.
ii. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be about three times the number of vacancies to be filled in subject to availability of successful candidates in the online examination and will be purely as per their ranking in their respective category.
3.Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered appointment.
NICL AO Exam
NICL is a state-owned general insurance company, conducts the exam for the post of Administrative Officer.
NICL was established in 1906 but was nationalised in 1972. It's headquarters are in Kolkata.
Candidates those who are selected after the final interview round, get to work as an Officers in Scale I cadre in NICL
The eligibility criteria for NICL AO recruitment is described below:
Must be a citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a citizen who has a residential certificate provided by the Indian government.
The minimum age of the candidate must be 21 years and,
The maximum age must be more than 30 years
As per the government rules, there is age relaxation in the upper age limit for the following categories.
SC/ST 5 years
OBC 3 years
PWD 10 years
EXSM/Persons domiciled in Kashmir 5 years
Defence service personnel disabled in operation during the hostilities 3 years
Existing confirmed employees of public sector insurance companies 8 years
Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
General/OBC category candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in graduation, while minimum marks for SC/ST is 55%.
NICL AO Prelims Exam Pattern :
As Now NICL Has not come up with any official notification. here we will tell you expected exam pattern for upcoming NICL AO Exam 2018. there are less chances that there will be some changes in exam pattern. it almost same as previous year.
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 60 minutes duration consisting of 3 sections as follows. Candidates have to qualify in each test by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Company (approximately 15 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination. Section of English language will be only in English language and others in bi-lingual.
NICL AO Main Examination :
There will be two stages in main examination. first it is objective type question of total 200 marks duration 120 minutes and second one is descriptive test of 30 marks and 30 minutes. the descriptive test will be a Test of English Language (Essay, Precis and Comprehension). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on line mode. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score for each section of objective test separately for short listing for the Descriptive Test evaluation/Interview i.e. Descriptive answer script would be evaluated only in respect of those candidates who qualify the objective test.There will also be a separate cut-off marks for the Descriptive Test
NICL AO Syllabus Pre And Mains :
Reasoning : Focus on Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.
English Language : Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.
Quantitative Aptitude : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.
General Awareness : Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.
Computer Awareness : Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.
Descriptive Test :- In Descriptive Test 03 Questions will be ask from Essay writing/précis writing and Letter writing. For Descriptive Test Focus on the Current News of Finance Sector, National Issues, Recent Government Scheme & Editorials from the leading English Newspaper like The Hindu.

NIACL Assistant Selection Procedure
The selection for Probationary Officers is done through a three-tiered process:
I. Preliminary Examination
II. Mains Examination
III. Language Proficiency Test
Candidates qualifying in the Online Main Examination are shortlisted and called for Regional Language Test, before final selection. No separate marks are awarded for Regional Language Test. This test is only qualifying in nature. Final selection is made on the basis of performance in the online Main examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for online examinations & Regional Language Test. In case of equal marks scored by the last two or more candidates in the merit list, the candidate senior most in age will be shortlisted for further process of recruitment.
NIACL Assistant Eligibility Criteria
Age (for 2018 Recruitment): Minimum Age: 21 years; Maximum Age: 30 years (as on. 30.06.2018). Candidates born not earlier than 1st July 1988 and not later than 30th June 1997 (both days inclusive) were eligible to apply.
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on date of application registration. Also, knowledge of Regional Language of the State for which a candidate applies is essential.
